Job Description
This is a fulltime remote position. Work hours are Monday Friday 8:30a 5:30p Eastern Time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain IBM RPGbased applications and systems for various business functions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers ensuring highquality code and efficient development processes.
- Implement and optimize applications on the VAI S2K platform ensuring system integration and performance.
- Oversee and participate in database administration tasks including the design optimization and troubleshooting of databases (primarily SQL).
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions for business stakeholders including custom reports and data extraction tools.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions that meet business needs.
- Continuously improve system functionality and performance troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Guide best practices and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Support the manufacturing and distribution operations with software solutions that enhance business processes.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IBM RPG development including RPGLE RPGSQL CL (Control Language)
- Proven experience in database administration (DB2 SQL) and optimization.
- Solid understanding of reporting and analytics development including custom reports and data extraction.
- Deep knowledge of the manufacturing and distribution industry with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications and systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
- Expertise in VAI S2K platform.
- Experience with the VAI S2K solution including CRM Warehouse Management Platform and Analytics packages
- Familiarity with advanced reporting and analytics tools and frameworks.
- Experience with additional programming languages or platforms (e.g. Java Python) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industryspecific best practices for software development and system integration in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.
