We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our RV Parts Distribution Warehouse team. The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels ensuring accurate stock records and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role requires strong organizational skills data analysis expertise and a proactive approach to maintaining inventory accuracy for RV parts and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Monitoring: Track and analyze inventory levels of RV parts identifying discrepancies overstock or shortages.
Data Analysis: Generate reports on inventory trends turnover rates and stock performance using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Excel.
Cycle Counts: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy; reconcile variances with warehouse records.
Order Management: Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand and recommend reorder quantities for RV parts.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and propose solutions to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
Stock Organization: Ensure proper labeling storage and categorization of RV parts within the warehouse for easy retrieval.
Compliance: Maintain adherence to company policies safety standards and inventory control procedures.
Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers to resolve delivery or quality issues affecting inventory.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 13 years of experience in inventory management preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience with RV parts or automotive components is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g. WMS ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP etc..
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods during inventory counts.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of RV parts accessories or the recreational vehicle industry.
Experience with demand forecasting or lean inventory practices.
