Digital Asset Specialist

Please note:

  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

  • This is a regular fulltime role.

Role Overview:

The Digital Experience team is responsible for designing developing and implementing Fidelity Canadas digital marketing strategy with the goal of increasing engagement across all approved digital channels. Responsibilities include digital user experience web publishing optimization maintenance and continuous improvement of and other digital properties and optimization of marketing campaigns.

The Digital Asset Specialist will work closely in partnership with the content marketing advertising events automation translation and design teams to continuously maintain and post new content on Fidelity Canadas various digital properties in a timely manner while ensuring content is compliant. Digital channels include but are not limited to the website Digital Asset Management system (DAM) microsites mobile apps videos and marketing automation solutions.

What You Will Do:

Digital Asset Management

  • Manage and maintain the DAM system ensuring all assets are accurately tagged organized and easily accessible.
  • Develop and implement best practices for digital asset management including metadata standards workflows and usage rights.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their digital asset needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Organize the DAM through metadata creation and file organization creating and communicating best practices to users
  • Create and maintain user guides tutorials and training material to support Marketing teams in creating and managing digital content

Digital Content Administration

  • Responsible for daily web content publishing new content and content updates via a CMS (content management system)

  • Ensure timely completion of content publishing on digital properties

  • Ensure all web content meets AODA web accessibility guidelines

  • Develop and maintain documentation regarding job processes system functionality and emergency/backup procedure

  • Utilize the CMS to its full potential to create innovative digital experiences

  • Develop and execute gotomarket strategies for video platform features aligning with business objectives target markets and requirements

Marketing Campaigns and Product launches

  • Perform competitive analysis provide wireframes and make user journey and content flow recommendations for campaigns

  • Provide inflight optimization and postcampaign reporting using data analytics to understand user behaviour and content performance for active and future campaigns and product launches

Content Compliance Administration

  • Ensure the content currently residing on the website and new content posted adheres to compliance guidelines

  • Notify content owners of existing and potential compliance infringements and expired content

Maintenance of Digital Platforms

  • Liaise with Information Security to help facilitate any systems maintenance required for ongoing system support

  • Identify opportunities and work with Information Technology to make enhancements to digital properties

What We Are Looking For:

  • Completion of a twoyear postsecondary program with a Marketing UX or technology focus

  • 2 years of handson experience with DAM platforms such as AEM Bynder Aprimo or Content Management Systems

  • Experience in Digital Marketing and/or enterpriselevel website operations digital content publishing and administration

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and/or web standards and technologies (i.e. HTML5 Java CSS video and image formats) is an asset

  • Experience with analytics tools (Adobe Analytics Google Analytics Decibel Insights) is an asset

  • Experience with Vidyard an asset
