Engineer
The Engineer performs skilled complex work in the repair maintenance and installation of heating ventilating air conditioning and steam distribution equipment and energy management systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma with college degree in related field preferred
- Must have thorough knowledge and experience in all phases of boiler operation including electrical plumbing HVAC quality air control and energy management.
- A minimum of five years regular/full time employment as a handson boiler operator is preferred.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance computerized HVAC systems and refrigerant transition.
- Recovery certification preferred.
- Boiler operators license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Installs maintains and repairs heating ventilating air conditioning equipment and systems to optimize energy use.
- Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools lap top computers and diagnostic
hardware to perform work. - Installs maintains and repairs computerized electronic pneumatic and digital direct control devises related to HVAC and heat control.
- Operates various measuring diagnostic and testing instruments.
- Calls vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies and recommends purchases and suppliers.
- Reads complex blueprints piping sketches schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Maintains electronic/pneumatic testing equipment.
