Job Description

Nipromec Oy Ltd is an international consulting and engineering company founded in 2003. We offer design and consulting services for multiple industries with emphasis on energy and construction. We are now looking for a PROJECT PLANNER for a project in Espoo for our client. Duration of the work is 1.6.202531.05.2026.

We are currently seeking a Project Planner to join our clients Project Management and department within Engineering & Projects (E&P). This role offers an opportunity to lead the planning and scheduling of major delivery projects that hold significant strategic importance. As a Project Planner you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling within the nuclear sector. You will collaborate closely with the project manager and project team to establish and maintain the project schedule. Additionally you will work closely with our suppliers monitoring their progress and ensuring that our investment projects advance as planned.

Main Responsibilities:

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Project planning and creating a work breakdown structure.
  • Building up the project schedule and updates.
  • Project progress follow up (with the core project team and suppliers).
  • Delay analysis and planning mitigation actions.
  • Depending on the experience level and planning performance small project delivery is possible.

Role Requirements:

  • Good knowledge in MS Project.
  • Degree in Engineering preferably from Energy Technology.
  • At least 2 year of work experience in a project organization (as a project team member).
  • Effective communication skills and ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Leadership characteristics and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management principles and techniques in the scheduling area.
  • Eective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability. Structured and detail oriented way of working with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proactiveness perseverance and ability to perform effectively under pressure. Outgoing team player and a can do attitude.
  • Good command of English language. Finnish and Swedish language skills will be considered as an advantage.

The positions location is in Espoo Finland and hybrid work is possible. However there might be occasional travelling.
