Job Description:
Position: Sourcing Engineer (Electrical)
Location: Daman
Experience: 5 7 Years
Industries: FMCG
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Sourcing Expert for multiple commodities for Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) such as Electronics and Electrical parts required for manufacturing products in the KDC/One group.
- Scout and select suppliers of materials develop the supplier base in India by localizing imported materials and support Group functions in scouting new suppliers and products in the market of Metrics: Number of suppliers scouted by spend category Success rate of supplier scouting.
- Conduct competitive negotiations to drive cost reductions with the supply base. Negotiate contractual terms with detailed cost breakdowns focusing on costdriving parameters like raw materials foreign exchange labor etc. and manage supplier relationships to meet current and future business expectations. Ensure plant needs are fully met in terms of price service level and quality (lowest TCO). Metrics: Purchase Price Variances (PPV) TCO.
- Monitor and analyze commodity markets.
- Assist the Sourcing Manager in executing the plants yearly savings plan and complete assigned Cost Improvement Initiatives (CII). Metrics: Yearly Saving Achievement.
- Maintain short and longterm plans for categories of materials and keep inforecords updated in SAP (ERP).
- Maintain a supplier platform with selection evaluation and reevaluation parameters ensuring the supplier scorecard is up to date.
- Generate reports and information to help the Sourcing Manager & Procurement Manager track department metrics.
Required Skills
- Microsoft office (Excel Word and Power Point)
- Handson experience in Electronics & Electrical commodities and product & raw material costing
- Must be excellent in written and spoken English; net savvy and adept at computer skills.
Required Qualification: B.E/ Electrical/Electronics
Salary : Upto 10:00 LPA
