Why 2RC

The 2RC Surgical Specialties Unit is a 34bed inpatient setting dedicated to providing worldclass care for a range of surgical patients including:

  • Transplant Surgery: Liver kidney and pancreas transplants.
  • Colorectal Surgery: Colectomies stoma placements and abdominal reconstructions.
  • Emergency General Surgery: Appendectomies hernia repairs and fistula treatments.
  • Minimally Invasive Surgery: Bariatric surgeries hiatal hernia repairs and more.
  • Vascular Surgery: Endovascular aortic repairs amputations and angioplasties.

The Role:

As a Clinical Practice Leader you will:

  • Lead with Purpose: Champion clinical care at the microsystem level fostering improvements in patient outcomes and staff development.
  • Inspire Innovation: Drive evidencebased practice through education quality initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Be the Expert: Provide mentorship ensure staff competencies and guide the implementation of cuttingedge nursing practices.
  • Ensure Excellence: Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and proactively support a culture of continuous improvement.
