Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Salesperson to join the team at Payne PreOwned Harlingen. The Salesperson will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing the right preowned vehicles to meet their needs. This role requires excellent customer service skills product knowledge and the ability to close sales effectively.
**Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in sales preferably in the automotive industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency in basic computer skills
**Responsibilities:**
Greet customers and understand their vehicle needs
Provide information about available inventory and options
Conduct test drives with customers to demonstrate vehicle features
Negotiate prices and sales contracts
Close sales and follow up with customers postsales to ensure satisfaction
Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
Stay uptodate on product knowledge and industry trends
**Additional Requirements:**
Valid drivers license
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license for at least 3 consecutive years
- Must have or be able to get a Texas drivers license
- Must have a clean driving record
