Job Description

Position Description Summary
On Tuesday evenings we invite Northwestern student volunteers to tutor kids while their parents attend courses in St. Paul. We are looking for a responsible student employee with a clean driving record to drive the volunteers to and from the tutoring site on Tuesday evenings 69pm). Responsibilities: Pick up UNW vehicle and be ready on time Drive to/from the site in St. Paul Provide peer supervision as needed Maintain a list of who attends both UNW volunteers and children Interact with church leaders in a professional and tactful manner Regularly collect feedback from participants both UNW volunteers and children Provide regular updates to supervisor Recruiting efforts may be requested of the driver including making announcements in UNW classes and/or breakout chapels Student positions are open to individuals enrolled in a minimum of 6 TRAD credits at UNW .

Required Qualifications
Qualifications: Responsible and selfmotivated Able to work without direct supervision Punctual Fluency in Spanish beneficial but not required Able to maintain a valid drivers license and excellent driving record Able to meet Public Safetys driving requirements (including driving test) Must be 21 years old or older
