Job Description
Overview
The Pharmacy Technician will help to provide high quality and costeffective pharmaceutical service to support the patient care needs.
Responsibilities
Processes new medication orders with accurate interpretation of the order labeling of the medication and selection of the medication dosage and quantity needed until the next cart exchange with 99 accuracy.
Qualifications
Good reading writing and oral communication skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy speed and dependability. Be able to maintain accurate records. Be able to handle several tasks at one time. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer science preferred. Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Valid California Pharmacy Technician certification.
