Job Description

We are looking for a Project Control Risk Engineer to join an international company that is a leader in the development of EPC projects in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. With a solid track record in the design construction and of industrial plants worldwide this company plays an active role in key initiatives for the energy transition: hydrogen biofuels biomass digitalization and artificial intelligence.

Madrid Spain

Work Modality:

Hybrid work model flexible working hours and Reduced working hours during the summer period.

Responsibilities:

Develop the Project Risk Management Plan.

Be responsible for the risk management process throughout the entire project lifecycle both internally and with the client (when contractually required).

Experience facilitating client workshops.

Identify risks and opportunities throughout the project defining the response strategy action plan and assigning risk ownership.

Monitor the action plan deadlines and update the risk register accordingly.

Conduct qualitative assessments using appropriate tools: workshops checklists lessons learned etc.

Perform quantitative assessments using SRA for quarterly reporting.

Requirements:

Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Over 5 years of professional experience in international companies.

Proven experience in EPC LSTK projects within the Oil & Gas and/or Energy sectors specifically on the side of the main contractor (EPC Prime Contractor).

Willingness to travel.

Proficient in English (C1 level).

Excellent interpersonal writing and verbal communication skills in English.

Project Management certification (e.g. PMP) and experience as a Project Engineer will be considered an asset.

Experience with Primavera P6 Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) or similar tools @Risk and PDRI will be a plus.

Knowledge and experience in project management and control tools and software including Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Access Outlook etc..

Experience leading client workshops.
