The project and the team
We develop modern Software Defined Networking (SDNs) and Network Operating systemsbased solutions for the leading networking equipment manufacturers. We work with cloudnative containerized software and services as well as with userspace and kernelspace drivers for advanced network equipment such as switches routers and smart network interface cards (smartNICs).
What else you should know:
- The team consists of developers QA Automation and DevOps Engineers
- We often work using hardware and tools provided by the client
- Our projects can be managed by our EMs or directly by the client
- We use Agile methodology (Kanban/Scrum) whenever possible
- We work with clients from the US and Europe
Your role
As a part of the project team you will be responsible for:
- Developing test automation using Python
- Contribute to Pythonbased test framework functionalities
- Contributing to document test scenarios
- Ensuring components you are responsible for are wellcovered by automated tests
- Being proactive and motivated to deliver highquality work
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with other developers
- Conducting code reviews for pull requests (PRs) raised by team members
- Maintaining project documentation in Confluence
Do we have a match
As a QA Automation Engineer you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience with Test Automation in Python (version 3
- Experience with PyTest
- Good knowledge of network concepts switching and routing preferably Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge
- Good knowledge of virtualization
- Good knowledge of English (B2 level)
Beyond the criteria above we would appreciate the nicetohaves:
- Knowledge of Cisco Juniper Arista switches and routers
- Knowledge of Cisco iOS XR/XE devices (e.g.: ASR 9000 ISR/ASR 1000 series)
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge
- Experience in automation of network devices YANG models NETCONF gRPC/gNMI protocols
- Experience with hardware traffic generators like Ixia Spirent
