Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide lowlatency highspeed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join the Amazon Legal team supporting Project Kuiper. You will support Kuipers commercial customer and channel partner contracts working with business and legal teams. You will drive process improvements and initiatives to track and simplify customer transactions from beginning to end. You will have drafting and negotiating responsibilities on agreements and other supporting documents and provide daytoday contracting advice to business team members.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
5 years of contracts management paralegal or other comparable experience within a law firm government agency or inhouse legal department with responsibility for reviewing drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a range of commercial contracts Experience with contracts management software
Project management experience Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with crossfunctional teams Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills Effective at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks of varying duration and complexity Demonstrates judgment even in ambiguous situations Curious adaptable enthusiastic and enjoys working hard and being challenged in a fun teamoriented environment Bachelors degree Legal Department experience
