Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of ecommerce and advertising offering a range of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping customers discover and shop for anything they want to buy. The Amazon Advertising business is growing at a fast pace and this teams mission is to apply technology to accelerate that growth through bestinclass software engineering data engineering and business intelligence.
As part of the Sales Technology team our goal is to deliver bestinclass products and data solutions to improve the effectiveness of Amazon Advertisings sales teams worldwide. We are building sales enablement products for Amazon Advertising front line sales team.
A qualified candidate for this role enjoys working with end users developing customerfocused UX workflows and web services and solving business problems with extensible software on this team can turn large data sets and disparate systems into actionable insightdriven products that can help Sales teams serve some of the worlds best known brands as well as small businesses selling products on Amazon. Key job responsibilities
Be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs propose features create early prototypes and transform them into exciting experiences.
Propose innovative tools frameworks automations and processes that are used by the entire services team for development.
Write clean maintainable code and perform peer codereviews.
Deepdive into client or server systems to optimize for performance maintainability scalability extensibility as needed.
Mentor your team members to promote engineering excellence
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
