Job Description
Description of the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls. As a Housekeeping Aide you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of cleaning duties including but not limited to dusting sweeping mopping vacuuming and cleaning windows
- Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are in pristine condition
- Change bed linens replenish amenities and provide a fresh and sanitized environment for guests
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
- Respond promptly to guest requests and address any concerns they may have
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy items
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
