Reporting to:Workshop Superintendent.
- Leading coaching and developing team members by setting clear expectations monitoring performance and mentoring others.
- Managing and executing daily maintenance of a large mobile maintenance fleet.
- Providing practical input into all relevant short and longterm maintenance plans.
- Increasing equipment availability and reliability by ensuring all maintenance activities are planned and carried out to a high standard safely and timely.
- Assisting the Superintendent in implementing safety and productivity strategies.
- Playing an active role in all incident investigations under your control.
- Creating solutions with selfmotivation to develop plans for challenges presented in the workplace.
- A mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
- Extensive posttrade or relevant mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment.
- Previous leadership experience.
- A strong commitment to health safety environment and community.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoring.
- The ability to work in a highpressure environment.
- Knowledge of relevant mining legislation including NSW DII MDGs codes of practice and relevant Australian Standards.
