This position provides regulatory and code guidance to department personnel licensees local jurisdictions registrants contractors and the public. Reporting data collection and record keeping.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely in Arizona to include inoffice hoteling based on the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

This position reviews factory built building construction and installation plans manufactured housing installation and accessory plans compliance assurance manuals for compliance with Statute Rule adopted codes and standards. Executes projects while monitoring and tracking progress to ensure compliance with timing regulations. Works with other agency personnel to ensure consistent program compliance. Provides administrative and technical support to the Plan Review Manager Division Administrator Assistant Deputy Director and other staff within the Department. Interaction with licensees public local jurisdictions and third party entities contracted with the department. Other duties as assigned.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely in Arizona to include inoffice hoteling based on the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
Candidates must have a valid Arizona drivers license and at least 5 years of relevant experience certified through a recognized plan review certification program i.e. ICC Certified Building Plans Examiner ICC Certified Residential Plans Examiner or similar program. Candidates should also possess knowledge of Federal regulations State statutes and Rules adopted building codes and construction manufacturing and installation methods related to regulated buildings. Additionally familiarity with basic statistical and data gathering techniques as well as continuous improvement methodology is required.
