We are currently located in Florida South Carolina Tennessee Georgia and Maryland with continued plans to expand our network of schools. Our goal is to grow talented staff and experienced Directors from within as we continue to expand our programs and develop internal career paths.
The position of Cook plays an important role in our centers ensuring children have the right fuel for their hard work learning playing and growing all day. You will be responsible for preparing breakfast lunch and a snack for each classroom which includes all meal planning ordering prep and cleanup. Meals must be planned ahead with ageappropriate foods and follow regulatory guidelines. Sanitation is also important including ensuring tools equipment kitchen and storage areas are kept clean and orderly.
What you will bring as a Team Member:
- 1year minimum experience cooking in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of nut and the big 8 allergies.
- Ability to pass background screening including no felonies.
- Outgoing kind friendly personality.
- Must feel comfortable around children.
- Maintain a safe clean environment.
- Foster an open friendly and cooperative relationship with each child and family.
- Establish and enforce high expectations for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Come to work on time enthusiastic committed & professionally prepared every day.
- Valid Drivers License.
Job Type: Fulltime
Requirements: Must be 18 years old or 21 in the state of Georgia. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience or CDA Associates or Bachelors in Child Care related major and 1 year of experience.
