Job Description
Primary Care Physician $326k($30k Sign on bonus)
Pittsylvania VA
Our client is seeking a Primary Care Physician with preference for Internal Medicine
Emergency Medicine or similar specialty to join their team. In this role you will be
responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients while working both
independently and collaboratively with other members of the correctional facility. This
position requires strong diagnostic assessment and treatment skills as well as
excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Primary Care Physician Duties and Responsibilities
Examine and diagnose patients order appropriate diagnostic tests and
prescribe medications
Develop and manage treatment plans for patients including preventive
care and health maintenance
Educate patients about selfmanagement of acute or chronic illnesses
tailoring instructions to patients individual circumstances
Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient
care
Keep detailed medical records and document patient care activities
Schedule Compensation & Benefits
$200k $326k plus signon bonus or $60k loan repayment
Up to $10k student loan repayment
Full support staff
Requirements
BC/BE in Family or Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
Current Virginia State Medical license or willing to obtain
