Job Description

Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas yearround. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. You will find yourself working in dark environments around special effects including strobe lights fog artificial smells and more. The working hours will be unique typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage operation at Universal Horror Unleashed (UHU) through coordinating the purchasing and receiving of products supports invoice discrepancies verifies documentation for accuracy and food quality standards and manages the inventory management system. Partners with Assistant Managers to maintain inventory and logistics efforts within the venue and defined storage location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates purchasing and receiving products for UHU Food & Beverage. Creates inventory items and verifies daily receiving and issuance documents for accuracy in the F&B inventory management system. Ensures the integrity and reputation of all food and beverage products being received with a focus on continuous improvement in quality standards.
  • Performs all operational duties related to the daily receiving of products including but not limited to partnering with vendors for receiving products verifying the accuracy of documentation inspecting and verifying that food products are stored handled and distributed according to safety regulations and company policies inputting inventory in the management system resolving physical count variances performing inventory audits and completing the end of day process.
  • Coordinates receiving resolution on receiving and invoice discrepancies. Manages vendor returns with the Sourcing Specialist. Determines the root cause of errors and resolves as appropriate.
  • Utilizes inventory management system to ensure physical products match on hand inventory. Assists in preparing for internal audits by ensuring all quality control processes and documentation are in order.
  • Supports food and beverage special requests for VIP guests special events and catering requests for special product requests. Communicates with partners to coordinate requests and ensure accuracy of special event needs with each department.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and inventory management systems.
  • Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management systems.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

  • Professional Food Managers certification and Nevada state certifications are required.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of related experience in logistics or inventory management in the Food & Beverage industry is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
