Job Description
Global Dimensions is a HUBZone service disabled veteranowned small business based in Fredericksburg VA. We are a dynamic expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture training/education/instruction IT cyber security and intelligence (analysts CI HUMINT SIGINT etc.. Global Dimensions is currently seeking a System Engineer for a position in Quantico VA.
System Engineer will:
- Work independently and with a team to determine the Clients data goals and design data solutions to meet or exceed those goals.
- Provide experience and detailed knowledge of system engineering standards practices and disciplines.
- Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance.
- Manage all aspects of database development to include concept design fabrication testing implementation and maintenance and provides timelines and sets milestones.
- Provides expertise in data analytics programming data visualization and system integration to provide data solutions.
- Develops and applies advanced methods theories and research techniques to develop a solution.
- Keeps Client informed on all aspects of a project to include providing oral and written reports
- Provide technical guidance for database development and software development.
- Conduct moderately complex analytic designs developments testing and debugging of computer software and specific developmental tools built internally.
- Provide input to office Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide weekly activityreportsas necessary.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance (with CI Poly preferred)
- BA in computer science or other related field and 10 years of experience.
- Experience with common data science toolkits such as Apache Hadoop Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS) and Tableau.
- Experience with programming language such as Python R Perl C and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization technologies such as TableauPowerBIQlikSense Grafana or Kibana.
