Job Description
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Bethesda MD
Conversion Salary: $85000 with potential for a higher salary based on experience.
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Controller in various accounting functions.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform Bank Reconciliations.
- Assist with monthend close processes.
- Generate and analyze financial reports.
- Prepare documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and Vlookups.
- Experience with accounting software is beneficial particularly Certinia and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Concur/Expensify is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model available after initial training period.
- Initial requirement of 45 days in the office for 23 weeks for training.
- Posttraining: 23 days inoffice with Tuesdays and Wednesdays mandatory.
