Cafeteria Coordinator

General Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve lunch to children and adults in a courteous customer service oriented manner. Organize and set up equipment and workstations. Perform duties following health food service government and other regulations. Demonstrate proper equipment operation skills.

Essential Tasks

Practice personal hygiene and proper sanitation
Monitor proper functioning of equipment
Prepare weekly lunch menus for rotating basis
Monitor food and equipment temperatures
Perform dishwashing duties of cooking serving and eating utensils tools
Setup and breakdown of serving areas
Receive stock and rotate incoming and outgoing inventory
Participate in formal and informal training
Demonstrate knowledge of sanitation practices
Perform preparation activities for the following day
Maintain a neat clean and safe work environment
Perform related work as required
Able to budget and order necessary supplies within budget
Able to select and purchase items online and arrange for pickup or delivery

Requirements & Qualifications

Some walking moving carrying bending kneeling crawling reaching handling pushing and pulling.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more stand for long periods of time
Ability to work with chemicals used for cleaning and sanitation
Complete required food safety trainings
