Job Description
Your role will include some of but not be restricted to the following tasks:
- Introduce pets to suitable patients
- Assist patients with the pet
- Chat to patients
- Ensure their pet is well behave during patient visits
- Help with other related tasks when necessary
THE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED.
- Your pet must be fully certified under either the Canine Concern Scotland Therapet Scheme or the Pets as Therapy Scheme
- Committed to high standards and willing to provide a quality service
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
- Responsible and reliable
- An understand the importance of confidentiality
- An understanding of and sympathy for the feelings of patients carers and others
