DEMAND PLANNER
Location: Athens (Central) Greece
Industry: manufacturing
THE JOB
- Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze historical sales data market trends and customer insights to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with Sales Production Supply chain Finance teams to incorporate customers needs market intelligence and seasonal variations into demand planning.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance customer satisfaction with cost efficiency.
- Identify and address potential overstock or stockout situations proactively.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor forecast accuracy and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and operations (production & supply chain efficiency.
- Generate and present reports to management highlighting insights risks and recommendations.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously refine demand planning processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand forecasting and inventory management.
THE PERSON
- Proven experience in a demand planning in the production or manufacturing sector (min 3 years).
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Mgmt or BA or Statistics or related field
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities native Greek
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisionmaking and process improvements.
- Experience with SAP software is a must have
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
