Were building AIpowered Shopify for service professionals. We empower service pros (e.g. roofers landscapers painters cleaners) to acquire direct business fast. Up and running within minutes using Gen AI our digital storefront products help pros get discovered trusted and booked repeatedly.
Topline Pro is cofounded byNick Ornitz(CEO) andShannon Kay(CPO) with an excellent team of 40 with plans to expand more in 2024/2025. We serve thousands of local service businesses and were named as one of theTop 50 Tech Companies building for SMBs in both 2023and2024.
Were backed by leading investors including Y Combinator and Forerunner Ventures (Series A 2023 with several years of runway and weve experienced rapid growth in the past year.
About our Customer
Home service business owners have historically paid thousands for services that now can be delivered faster and at a fraction of the cost through Topline Pro.
Topline Pro has generated over $200 million in business for our customers across thousands of businesses in nearly all 50 states. Our favorite stories are those of Jered a landscaper in Daytona Beach FL who grew his business from $70k to over $2.2M and Lauren a painter in Adrian MI who started and grew her business to nearly $1M. Both in about a year of working with Topline Pro.
Our customers tend to be in the field and on the move which drives our ardent focus on simple and intuitive yet powerful mobile web app design today and in the future native mobile app design. Weve found innovative ways to meet our customers where they are both inside and outside our application.
About the Role
Were hiring our third Product Manager (recently having hired our first and second) which provides an opportunity to take on significant ownership in building a product that can meaningfully change the lives of home service pros.
You will also have the opportunity to make a huge impact on a small yet growing team and culture.
Our Product organization operates in three pods. This role will be the dedicated Product Manager for our Conversions pod reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer.
We empower our product teams to solve hard problems in ways that our customers love yet work for our business.
We empower our product teams to tackle challenging problems in ways that delight our customers and support our business goals. However we maintain high standards where simply delivering a product isnt enough. Were seeking a Product Manager who is dedicated to achieving the impactful results we require.
What youll do
- Collaborate in daytoday Discovery with the designer and engineer in your Product trio to determine what to build to best drive the goals defined by our quarterly OKRs
- Collaborate with your Pod to ensure the team has the necessary context and specifications to deliver the initiatives picked up from Discovery including participating in agile sprint ceremonies and testing tickets
- Understand overall company strategy financials objectives and constraints and apply them to the work of your Pod
- Understand and track industry trends and the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with and support key stakeholders including our gotomarket teams (sales marketing customer success)
- Communicate and evangelize product learnings and status across the company
- Identify and prioritize meaningful problems (pain points unmet needs or unmet desires) through deep understanding of customers and users using both qualitative (e.g. user interviews) and quantitative (e.g. data analysis) techniques
- Analyze product data to understand and optimize existing product performance and to inspire ideas for new opportunities
What were looking for
- 4 years working as a product manager on technologypowered products ideally mobile web applications for SMBs
- Experience working in an empowered crossfunctional product pod ideally between Series A and Series C
- Demonstrated ability to understand multiple functional areas of the business engineering design sales and operations
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints using sound judgment to assess risks and to lay out options tradeoffs and a recommendation in a wellstructured datainformed narrative
- Proven ability to engage with engineers designers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
