Join our dynamic team at PwC as the Head of Learning & Development (L&D) where youll be responsible for the thought leadership design development and deployment of best practice learning and development solutions. Your role will empower PwCs executives and leaders to achieve the ambitious objectives of our One Firm Strategy both financial and cultural with dynamism and precision
About the Role
Our team is expanding and were looking for a Head of Learning & Development to join our vast community of solvers. The role brings our purpose to life by designing a clear enterprise learning strategy connecting our interpersonal professional and technical learning leveraging our PwC skills framework and ensuring integration across all of our Learning & Development offerings.
Youll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Business insight: Use your understanding of business dynamics to advance the Firms goals and drive effective strategic and meaningful outcomes through effective measurement and determining ROI
Planning / Results: planning and prioritising work to meet commitments aligned with organisational goals
Effective Communication: Communicating effectively; developing and delivering multimode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audience
Nimble Learning: Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems using both successes and failures as learning fodder
Team Collaboration: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
Your impact will be seen by:
Acting as the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the PwC Learning & Development firm wide development curriculum design and deployment including Team Leader development personal & team effectiveness skills learning experience journey (including learning technology) and the Early Careers program
Partnering with peer Organisational Development CoE along with Workforce Strategy People Solutions and the broader People & Culture Leadership Team to ensure key people insights strategies and organisational capabilities are integrated into the L&D curriculum and operational practices with a focus on growth career development and a seamless people experience to enable skills development and key talent retention
Delivering strong ROI and impact through contemporary L&D metrics aligned to business growth as articulated in PwC One Firm & P&C Strategy
Overseeing a team (approx. 13 creating a strong collaboration with the Head of Leadership & Talent Development and various learning leads across the firm to develop a L&D Community of Practice across all learning practitioners across PwC
Amplifying our PVP to ensure our people have access to meaningful and impactful multichannel learning that supports their growth ambitions in partnership with PwCs goals and provides for an exceptional and mindful learning experience through a clear and engaging roadmap for development
Elevating our learning approach and experiences in the 70:20:10 principles (with blended learning at its core) and accelerate our focus on metrics to quantify impact of learning and generate data driven business cases for new approaches
Preferred Knowledge
Understanding of skills based learning and frameworks and their successful implementation to drive adoption advocacy and business impact
Best practice learning research thinking and application in varied environments to drive improved outcomes
Human centred design and people experience to tap into new and evolving methodologies that engage all unique learning styles and varying talent demographics
Utilisation of learning technology to drive improved and bespoke learning experiences
Learning measurement methodologies that support evidence based decision making
Desired Experiences
Extensive and demonstrated experience in design and implementation of L&D strategies and plans that deliver desired measurable outcomes
Familiarity in a CoEmodel (matrixed)and the ability to influence varied stakeholders (at senior levels) for successful and mutually beneficial outcomes
The ability to bring people on the journey plan for change and successfully embed a culture of learning that creates momentum
