Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand website design requirements and objectives
- Create wireframes mockups and prototypes to visualize website layouts and user interfaces
- Design and develop website graphics images icons and other visual elements
- Select and optimize color schemes typography and imagery to create cohesive designs
- Use coding languages such as HTML CSS and JavaScript to implement design elements
- Ensure responsive and mobilefriendly design to enhance user experience across devices
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web design and user experience
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining design quality
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Web Design Graphic Design or a related field (Portfolio is a plus)
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar design role
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator etc.
- Strong understanding of usercentered design principles and usability
- Familiarity with HTML CSS and basic JavaScript for design implementation
- Creative thinking and a strong eye for detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to interpret design requirements and translate them into visually appealing designs
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobilefirst approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects and skills
