Job Description
JoinPro Rehaban established Therapy company with over 34 years of successful business. We are looking for aFullTime Speech Therapistto join our staff and split time betweenPark View Care Center & Lake Ridge Care Center senior care communities in Buffalo MN located only .3 miles away from each other! You would also occasionally go to our site in Cokato MN called Brookridge or Cokato Senior Care (only 27 min from Buffalo).
We offer a competitive wage benefits paid mileage as well as a$5000 bonus paid out over 1 year or tuition reimbursement. New grads are welcome to apply!
40 hours a week Monday through Friday.
Pay Range:$45 $60 / hour depending on experience
Speech Therapist Responsibilities:
- Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders: Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech language voice fluency and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
- Provide Speech & Language Therapy: Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
- Educate & Support Patients & Families: Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
- Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment: Track patient improvements document progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare & Education Teams: Work with doctors teachers and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelors degree.
- Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state federal and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care.
- Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
