Responsibilities

The start date for the coop program will be May 2025



Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • As our coop program is a threeway relationship between Ford the student and the university eligible candidates mustbe actively enrolled at a university at the time of application.
  • Student must be entering into their Junior or Senior standing at their university.
  • Recent college graduates may be considered to be a part of this program.
  • This position is onsite as a paid coop. Relocation and housing accommodations are not provided must be onsite

Preferred requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in: Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Environmental Engineering Welding Engineering MaterialScience Engineeringor Supply Chain Management.
  • Be actively enrolled in Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) OR Purdue UniversityNorthwest at the time of application orattend a university that has a coop relationship with Ford Motor Company.
  • Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program
  • Students must be available for a minimum 1012week coop assignment
  • Students must be available and willing to do multiple assignments
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment including our world class manufacturing facilities where you have the opportunity to see the product developed and completed
  • Ability to work within a diverse team
  • Interest in the automotive industry and manufacturing
