As the Submarine Action Officer based at our Washington D.C. office you will support the Submarine Safety and Quality Assurance Division (SEA 07Q) at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). You will also be responsible and accountable for the Submarine Safety (SUBSAFE) FlyByWire Ship Control Systems (FBW SCS) and Deep Submergence Systems (DSS) Certification programs. SEA 07Q provides quality assurance and independent oversight for all of the SUBSAFE/FBW SCS/DSS certification responsible activities across the globe. Its director advises the NAVSEA Deputy Commander for Undersea Warfare (SEA 07 and acts as the Program Manager for Submarine Safety and Quality Assurance. This program ensures the safety of all Sailors aboard SUBSAFE FBW SCS and DSS certified assets.

In compliance with the District of Columbias Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the salary range for this role is $86539.03 to $140624.86; however Serco considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
