Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas provides programs and services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and dual diagnoses. Located in League City Texas this position is responsible for assessing treating and providing direct service delivery to individuals in care. The SLP evaluates students upon admission and prepares diagnostic reports on each evaluated student. The SLP serves as a member of the IEP or Educational Service Plan team when applicable and will be required to attend IEP meetings and treatment team meetings reviewing progress on therapeutic goals with the interdisciplinary team. The SLP will also liaison and consult with staff to coordinate program planning determine need for therapy and implement recommendations of clinical staff in regard to behavioral/emotional difficulties.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or Therapy
- ASHA Certified with Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a school hospital treatment facility etc. is preferred.
- Experience with PECS and other forms of AAC is preferred.
