Salary: Soulbury Pay Scale A 3 8 up to 3 additional SPA points(pro rata for parttime). Previous SPA points will be honored. Plus 2000 welcome bonus.

About the role:
We are looking for 3 creative and enthusiastic Educational Psychologists to become members of our friendly and supportive team. Our service encourages collaborative and flexible working is committed to developing EPs professional skills whilst prioritising professional wellbeing.

The London Borough of Waltham Forest offers permanent staff a recruitment and retention bonus of 2000 paid annually in June and December. New recruits (permanent posts) joining us will receive 1000 on commencement and 1000 on successful completion of the first 12 months (pro rata).

We are looking for Educational Psychologists to join our team who:
- Are excellent practitioners with good communication interpersonal organisation and time management skills.
- Are reliable flexible and able to show initiative.
- Are committed to a consultation model of service delivery and understand the issues of working within a traded environment.
- Have a sound knowledge of evidenced based interventions.
- Have professional Educational Psychology qualifications recognised by the BPS have HCPC registration. This post is subject to a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
To work within the Educational Psychology Team as part of WF SEND service to deliver a high quality Educational Psychology Service to those who commission the service such as Early Years schools and colleges.
To respond within the set timescales to requests from the commissioners as required for both statutory and nonstatutory assessments of special educational needs for Waltham Forest children and young people
To contribute to raising outcomes for children and young people in Waltham Forest (including the delivery of training on a range of needs across the local authority (e.g. ELSA Cygnet)
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this position you should meet the following requirements:
Have professional Educational Psychology qualifications recognised by the BPS (MSc / Doctorate in Educational Psychology).
Have HCPC registration.
