The University of Chicago Department of Statistics invites applications for the position of William H. Kruskal Instructor. We seek recent or expected Ph.D. graduates doing advanced research with a connection to statistical theory methodology and applications probability theory machine learning or data science. Kruskal Instructor responsibilities include engagement in independent research and teaching up to three quarterlong courses per year in statistics or related fields. The appointment is for a term of up to three years.
