Key responsibilities

Supply Planning

Execute planning activities within a defined framework/system with dependencies on other processes/units.

Operations Management

Provide operational support by performing a range of route activities using existing systems and protocols.

Inventory Control

Carry out a range of inventory control activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Client & Customer Management (Internal)

Help senior colleagues manage internal client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.

Document Management

Create and ensure compliance with a company wide document management system.

Performance Management

Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance. OR Monitor the performance of the team; allocate work and review completion take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality; contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.

Leadership and Direction

Explain the local action plan to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organizations strategy mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.

Data Collection and Analysis

Collate and analyze data using preset tools methods and formats. Involves working independently.

Health Safety and Environment

Follow the organizations Health Safety and Environment (HS&E) policies procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action escalating serious issues as appropriate.

Work Scheduling and Allocation

Assign shortterm work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines.

Supplier Management

Maintain daytoday contact with businesscritical suppliers and respond to complex incidents with suppliers or supplies/services to analyze performance and provide feedback on key supplier management indicators.

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data from multiple sources to draw appropriate conclusions and make suitable recommendations.

Review and Reporting

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on reviewing and creating relevant lucid and effective reports.

Data Collection and Analysis

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.

Procurement Process Management

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on managing the entire procurement process from start to finish.

Costing and Budgeting

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on costing budgeting and finance tasks.

Education

B. Tech / BE or Equivalent Level.

Experience: Minimum 45 years.

Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others
