Restaurant Server Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / hourly earned tips

Schedule: Currently searching for a Part Time Server to work our AM breakfast service and/or PM dinner service

Summary:

The server will take orders answer questions about the menu and food sell the restaurants food and drinks take payments have great customer service skills and assist in cleaning when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sell and serve food and beverages safely including beer & wine / cocktails
• Cleanliness within the restaurant set up breakdown & during service is a HIGH PRIORITY
• Process guests bills and payments
• Impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
• Set up tables and ensure cleanliness of linen silverware and glassware
• Clean tables including removal of and proper placement of soiled wares and trash
• Clean floors including sweeping mopping and cleaning baseboards
• Deep cleaning will be required by Servers on rotation
• Know the menu and be able to explain ingredients and preparation methods
• Ability to upsell specials alcohol & desserts
• Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
• Prepare station prior to opening keep station neat and clean while serving guests and clean station at end of shift
• Assist the Kitchen cook staff with inventories clean up preparation when needed

Qualifications:

• Professional and positive attitude towards guests and associates
• Be knowledgeable on hotel facility and services to assist guests
• Customer service
• Process checks and payments in compliance with policies and procedures & correctly. Accuracy is a must/
• Communication skills
• Work in a fastpaced environment
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• High school education or related experience
• Weekends & Holidays are required
