What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced retail Interior designer with the desire and interest to work in the behind the scenes world of the retail industry. The designer must be motivated to assist and lead customer accounts aiding in the growth of our business in a fastpaced work environment. As a problem solver their contribution to the design and sales process will provide potential and existing customers with the correct product solutions for their needs. Depending on the level of opportunity client type and custom requirements other team members and or related departments may support the process. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple opportunities within defined timelines and exude enthusiasm and professionalism throughout their tenure.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Leverage professional design expertise to drive sales and promote OPTO products and services.
- Provide design consultation including the qualification establishment and maintenance of strong customer relationships via phone email and video conferencing ensuring followup with clientspecific materials.
- Offer proactive and reactive support for incoming inquiries addressing customer needs promptly and effectively.
- Maintain indepth knowledge of product lines to recommend the most suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
- Provide fixture and layout recommendations ensuring optimal product placement and functionality.
- Prepare detailed project proposals including presentation drawings and comprehensive quotes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in documentation BOMs and assembly detailing to ensure accurate project .
- Travel as needed for industry events and client meetings with up to 10 travel.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associates degree and/or 3 years of experience in interior design architecture or a related field.
- Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Office Suite Google Docs Adobe Suite and PowerPoint.
- Excellent problemsolving and organizational skills enabling efficient management of multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- High attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills capable of conveying information clearly and effectively to both coworkers and clients.
- Strong motivation to contribute to the companys growth by continuously expanding knowledge of the retail industry.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This position is based in an office environment. The role involves sitting and standing at a desk frequent inperson and phone communication and the regular use of standard office equipment including phones and computers.
