Working in the People & Communication Team

As part of the People & Communication team you will join a dynamic and dedicated group responsible for various support activities within Wyre. This includes Human Resources Internal Communication Events Facilities and Digital Workplace as well as External Communication Regulatory and Public Affairs. Our combined expertise and close collaboration contribute to the success of the organization and foster positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities as an Management Assistant:

As a fulltime Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our organization. We are looking for a motivated and wellorganized professional with strong project management skills. Your role will involve supporting internal and external stakeholders while bringing a creative touch to event planning and corporate activities.

  • Executive Assistance: Manage executive agendas schedule appointments and prepare meetings.
  • Mailbox Management: Filter incoming emails set priorities and ensure smooth followup.
  • Event Organization: Plan and execute corporate events such as Christmas celebrations team activities and other companywide initiatives.
  • Office Management: Order office supplies manage incoming mail and handle deliveries.
  • Facilities and Event Support: Assist in organizing corporate events offsite meetings and oversee office facility and digital workplacerelated tasks.
  • Project Support: Actively contribute to (ad hoc) projects and provide administrative assistance within Learning & Development (L&D).
  • Communication: Maintain internal and external contacts while ensuring a smooth flow of information within the team and across Wyre.

In summary the role of an Assistant is essential in reducing operational workload increasing productivity and providing key support to both the team and the organization. As an Assistant you will act as the eyes and ears of the organization serving as the glue that connects all Wyre stakeholders.

Our Ideal Assistant

Has at least 1 to 2 years of professional experience and holds a bachelors degree or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.

Competencies:

  • Strong project management skills: Ability to plan coordinate and execute projects and events with attention to detail.
  • Creative and organizational talent: Bring energy and engagement to the organization by organizing themed activities such as Christmas or Cultural Day.
  • Technical knowledge: Proficient in MS Office 365 and administrative systems.
  • Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English both spoken and written.
  • Planning and organization: Work in a structured manner distinguish between key and secondary tasks and effectively set priorities.
  • Communication skills: Clear social and customeroriented communication.

  • Proactive and handson: Take initiative and demonstrate a cando attitude with a positive and solutionoriented mindset.
  • Flexible and serviceoriented: Adapt to the needs of colleagues and external contacts.
  • Integrity and discretion: Handle confidential information with care.

  • Adaptable: Quickly respond to and manage changing situations.
