In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines including lathes drill presses saws and grinders.
- Maintain machine components in excellent working condition.
- Ensure all tooling complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Sharpen and maintain knives scissors and other cutting tools.
- Service steel rule dies by sharpening blades and replacing punches.
- Perform basic mold repairs such as fixing marks updating date codes and creating simple tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints and other tool design documentation accurately.
- Fabricate and modify basic tooling and components as needed.
- Recommend process improvements to supervisors to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct basic inspections to ensure precision and quality.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools effectively for various tasks.

- Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 35 years of handson machining experience within fastpaced manufacturing settings.
- Must be able to understand sophisticated manual and CNC machines including vertical and 3axis milling lathe/mill combination machines and engine lathes operations.
- The ability to read write and speak English.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship will not be provided).
- Strong teamwork skills with a proven ability to collaborate optimally in dynamic environments.
- 5 years of handson machining experience within fastpaced manufacturing settings.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Capability to lift at least 20 lbs. to transfer material to a scale or table.
- Ability to reach into tight spaces within a machine.
