Job Description
Reports to: Facility & Operations Manager
Classification: NonExempt PartTime or Temporary FT
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Summary/Objective:
To provide safe and efficient transportation for students in a safe and costeffective manner that supports the missions of Grace Place.
- Obey all traffic laws and ensure compliance with all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
- Maintain an assigned schedule and adhere to pickup and dropoff times.
- Ensure the bus is adequately fueled and perform daily vehicle inspections for safety.
- Keep the assigned bus clean and report any maintenance issues to the Facilities/Operations Manager.
- Pick up and discharge students and authorized individuals only at designated responsible leadership on all field trips.
- Notify the Facilities/Operations Manager in case of mechanical failure delays or any safety concerns.
- Follow all safety guidelines and organizational policies related to student transportation.
- Perform other busdrivingrelated duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Drivers license for five years.
- Valid Florida C.D.L. Class B license with appropriate endorsement.
- Ability to work well with others. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- The ability to read and follow traffic signs and roadside instructions.
- Ability to work with diverse groups.
- Successful completion of a physical examination.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening.

Work Environment: Position requires working in numerous locations which include varied temperature noise level and other factors that may affect a persons working conditions while performing the job.
Position Type and Expected Working Hours: Fulltime temporary or Parttime substitute ongoing.
Travel: Ex. Travel up to 20 mostly locally between Naples Bonita Springs Estero and South Fort Myers
Physical Demands: Bending sitting and standing for long periods of time. Position may requires exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force as frequently and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Driving required regularly.
Essential Physical Functions: Driving a student bus.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Valid drivers license CDL (or willingness to obtain CDL) Level II background check and drugtesting.
Proof of safe driving record.
