TheLead Development Representative (LDR)is responsible for call/email responses to marketing leads with the highest propensity for converting to qualified opportunities. Marketing and Sales are a team. This role is at the center of that partnership by taking marketing leads and reaching out to them to convert them into opportunities. The LDR is the first impression to prospects reaching out to Flexera for information and conducting research to learn if they want to partner with us.

Were looking for those who want to learn how to interact with and listen to prospects to solve their software challenges and those who want to create a foundation in Sales to help propel them forward in their career. This role is best suited for those interested in sales curious to learn the marketing/sales process and gain prospecting skills in the technology software industry.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Call email and LinkedIn message assigned Marketing leads: Request a Demo and other online form submissions Event and Webinar attendee followup Website downloads Online Chat and others
  • Achieve opportunity quota by nurturing and qualifying leads to an opportunity status utilizing sales tools and executing a proven lead followup process
  • Accurately logging all interactions in Salesforce
  • Create handoff documents to Account Management team when a qualified opportunity is identified
  • Understand how companies operate and what pain points and challenges they face every day
  • Interact with Marketing Sales Enablement Business Operations and Field Sales Account Management teams
  • Gain advanced prospecting skills and learn how to interact with prospects at the beginning of their buying and research discovery
