Hampton Lumber is a familyowned wood products company headquartered in Portland Oregon. With over 1700 employees we operate ten sawmills in Western Oregon Washington and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and export division. Overview
This positions primary function is to keep the facility clean and operational in order to eliminate safety and fire hazards. This is a full time position with cross training leadins to operate some of the advanced equipment in the facility. Work Schedule: Flexible as needed. Wage starts at $22.66 per hour $47132 per year before any shift differentials overtime and production bonuses). Production bonuses are possible for every employee each month based on the plant sites target goals.
Operator 1 Cleanup crew is just the first step towards a long list of exciting and diverse job opportunities available at Hampton. As you are trained on different jobs in each department to assist with breaks you will gain the job experience to be able to apply internally when advanced positions with increased wages become available.

Responsibilities
- Pick up slabs sticks sawdust and chips off lower mill floors
- Assist with dust mitigation
- Maintain a safe environment andcomply with allsafety policies and procedures
- Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
Qualifications
- Completion ofhighschool or equivalent preferred but not required
- Sawmillexperience preferred but not required
- Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
- Lifting is 2030 pounds on a continuous basis
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Be a team player and selfstarter
