Job Description
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Specialty Physicians of Illinois LLC is seeking a parttime Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our clinic at SPI WorkingWell Chicago Heights in Chicago Heights IL. Practice friendly and caring walkin care medicine while providing excellent customer service to our patients.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have experience in Occupational Medicine with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will have BLS certification and will be able to see all patient types. Candidate should be comfortable with workmans compensation injuries Department of Transportation physicals musculoskeletal injuries and other workrelated injuries or services.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Traditional parttime schedule
- Clinic hours: Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.; No weekends or holidays
- Must be DOT Certified or willing to become certified
- Average outpatient volume: 25 30 patients per day
- Lab and xray onsite
- Common Diagnoses:
- Exposures
- Lacerations
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Preemployment DOT and NonDOT physicals
- Sprain and Strains
- Workers Comp care

- Masters Degree Required
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) American Heart Association Required
