Job Description
Position:The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University is seeking parttime lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in the areas of operations and supply chain management business analytics and introductory management information systems. Undergraduate classes are 4 units and may meet once or twice per week days or evenings depending on the course schedule.
Qualifications:Applicants should have 5 or more years of experience in the areas listed above and a relevant graduate degree (MBA Masters in Information Systems Business Analytics or similar). Candidates applying for the operations and supply chain management or business analytics area must demonstrate strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools and models (e.g. regression time series forecasting optimization methods etc.. Candidates applying for the management information systems area also must have strong Excel skills and understanding of the role of information systems in business operations and strategy. Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
