Job Description
Join our team as an Upstream Process Development Technician in West Point PA where youll support bioreactor operations and execute benchscale processes. Candidates with fermentation experience familiarity with smallscale bioreactors and strong attention to detail and organizational skills will thrive in this role.
Employee Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for bioreactor operations and execute benchscale bioreactor processes
- Perform basic laboratory techniques including aseptic expansion of mammalian cell culture and routine analytical procedures on cell culture samples
- Monitor bioreactor daily maintaining thorough records of cell culture parameters and results in data sheets and/or electronic notebooks
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy while demonstrating understanding of cell culture parameters (growth rate density viability metabolite consumption and waste production)
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in a sciencerelated field and 12 years of experience OR
- MS in a sciencerelated field with 01 years of experience
- Strong organizational skills and Attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Previous fermentation experience
- Experience with small scale bioreactors
- Experience with ambr250
- Experience with media development
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivated adaptable and carry a positive attitude
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime onsite Monday Friday 8:00 am5:00 pm position is located in West Point PA. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point PA are encouraged to apply.
