Job Description
Qualo is seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 Inspector with certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT) Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Penetrant Testing (PT) and Visual Testing (VT). The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and customer specifications performing inspections critical to maintaining quality assurance and integrity of components and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections using RT UT PT and VT methods according to industry standards and internal procedures.
Evaluate test results identify defects and provide detailed reports and documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and tools.
Collaborate effectively with engineering and quality teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must have previous / current NDT Level 2 certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) per ASNT guidelines or equivalent. Level 2 PT and VT is a plus but not required
Minimum 2 years of handson experience as an NDT Inspector.
Ability to interpret codes standards and engineering drawings.
Must successfully pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Security Clearance.
Strong communication organizational and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
ASNT ACCP / ISO 9712 NDT Level 2 certifications a plus
Previous experience working in aerospace defense or government contracting environments.
Familiarity with DOD specifications and inspection requirements.
