At TFS were embarking on a technology transformation journey creating next generation products and platforms. Were looking for awellrounded Software Development Engineer IIto help lead the transformation of ourTFS core systemsinto agile cloudnative and serviceoriented platforms. This is afull stack rolethat requires strong technical judgment handson experience with modern frameworks and a proactive approach to system design and delivery. Youll work across backend and frontend technologies take ownership of key components and play a critical role in mentoring junior engineers while shaping the longterm evolution of our core business systems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop scalable backend services usingJavaSpring Boot and the broaderSpring Framework.

• Build responsive UI components usingReactand modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Design and implementmicroservicesREST APIs andeventdrivencomponents following layered and clientserver architecture patterns.

• Deliver cloudready solutions usingAWS SDK and services such asS3DocumentDBArora andAmazon MSK.

• Deploy containerized applications toAmazon EKSusingDocker with CI/CD support viaJenkinsandArtifactory.

• Write robust tests usingJUnitMockitoReady APIPostman andSeleniumto ensure code quality and reliability.

• Work withNoSQL databases implement effective caching strategies and manage builds usingMavenandGitHub.

• Document and test APIs usingSwaggerand participate in peer reviews architecture sessions and production support efforts.

• Champion best practices in DevOps code quality and scalable design.

What you bring

• 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Proficient inJavaSpring Boot andRESTful APIdevelopment.

• Experience withAWSservices includingEKSS3MSKDocumentDB andElastiCache.

• Solid background inmicroserviceseventdrivenarchitecture andcloudnative design.

• Familiarity withNoSQL databasescaching andrealtime streaming.

• Strong experience withDockerCI/CD tools(e.g. Jenkins Artifactory) andGit.

• Handson testing withJUnitMockito and API testing tools.

Bonus if you have

• Experience withAmazon CorrettoNettyTomcat or embedded server configurations.

• Familiarity withAmazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK).

• Knowledge of API documentation usingSwagger/OpenAPI.

• Exposure toReady APIand servicelevel test automation.
