Join Mars as a Manufacturing Technician and help shape the future of petcare!
Were on the lookout for a handson solutionsfocused Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role youll play a key part in keeping our factory running smoothly tackling equipment breakdowns carrying out maintenance and driving improvements that enhance reliability across the site.
What Youll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns escalating where needed
- Lead and support initiatives to boost equipment reliability and performance
- Coach and collaborate with operators to build technical capability across the team
- Conduct root cause investigations and help eliminate recurring issues
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
What Youll Bring:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification (desirable)
- Ideally experience as a fitter or similar
- 13 years experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
- Strong understanding of Safety and Quality Management Systems ideally from food or pharma industries
- A team mindset problemsolving skills and a passion for continuous improvement
