SUMMARY:To assure the smooth and effective operation of the departmentso that the schools maximum and positive impact on the education of the children can be realized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative support functions.
- Act as liaison between students/parents Principals Assistant Principals and Counselors.
- Coordinate school site transportation requests.
- Assist with management of student discipline curriculum and athletics.
- Assist with collection and verification of substitute and staff attendance.
- Assist with management of building key distribution.
- Assist with coordination and maintenance of school documents.
- Assist with coordination and distribution of school wide communication.
- Assist with coordination and scheduling of school facilities for special projects and events
- Clerical assistance to Administrative Secretary III Principal Assistant Principal and Counselors.
- Monitor and inventory supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students employees community members and vendors.
- Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Otherjobrelated duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three 3 years of clerical experience involving frequent contact with the public.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Demonstrated competency in computer literacy and Excel.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Standard practices methods and materials of assigned work.
- Techniques and methods for organizing prioritizing and monitoring work.
- Business math concepts.
- Filing and recordkeeping principles.
- Applicable federal state and local laws codes regulations.

- Utilizing a computer and relevant software applications.

ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: balancing stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing walking lifting fingering grasping talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move object.
Working Conditions:
Work is routinely performed in an indoor office environment.
