Job Description
The machine operator will safely operate and trouble equipment involved in the production of garage doors.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Ensures line is meeting or exceeding departmental safety quality and productivity hourly and daily goals.
- Follows written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties.
- Works closely with Supervisor to assist in training new team members.
- Keeps notes to update KPI screen for hourly output.
- Works closely with Supervisor to achieve downstream demand.
- Performs and oversee required daily and weekly routine maintenance to respective line equipment.
- Performs and document all required quality checks and maintain 5S standards.
- Keeps accurate notes on all downtime and KPI data.
- Follows standard work to achieve required changeover times.
- Works closely with Supervisor to update and present data on tier boards.
- Follows all safety procedures and programs.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by departments supervisor.
